The Philadelphia Eagles are en route for their week 2 preseason game for a matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The Eagles have been in Ohio for a few days as the teams held joint practices on Thursday and Friday.
During joint practice, the Eagles’ attack continued to look as dominant as it had against the Jets last week. DeVonta Smith was back from injury and saw a lot of goals in recent days. Head coach Nick Sirianni was unwilling to announce his plans for the starters – including Smith who missed last week’s game – but with their performance on the field it would be surprising if they snapped any pictures.
While those looked good in the first preseason game, the two looked good fine and the threes certainly needed some work. With the starters almost certainly out, it’s good for the deep players to get their chance to shine, but also get some more in-game experience to develop.
Third-year quarterback Reid Sinnett struggled in the second half against the Jets, but eventually led the charge on an 18-play drive across the field to take the lead. Of course the Eagles didn’t win, but it was a nice way to end the game before the attack, and something the QB can build on.
Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the game.
