Are you hitting the waves this weekend? Wave Race 64 is now available on the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service, so we know for sure some some of you are harking back to that late 90s nostalgia. Otherwise, you might be hitting the ball with the highly-rated Cursed to Golf (we’ll have our own review in the future!). Or maybe you’re looking at that confirmed definitive list of Mega Drive Mini 2 games.
Elsewhere on Nintendo Life, we’ve got a list of all the Wii U and 3DS DLC you need to grab before stores close. We also mocked Kirby’s Dream Buffet in our review. And we also joined the Cult of the Lamb in yet another positive review for this indie hit.
Now it’s time to relax and discuss our weekend game plans. a few mmembers of the Nintendo Life team have done just that below, so feel free to read our entries and then enter your own via our comment section. Enjoying!

This weekend I’m taking a plane to Germany with an eight hour layover, so I’ll be playing LOTS of video games. Wish me luck.
I’ve been playing 13 Sentinels lately like it’s nobody’s business, and I plan to keep doing it until I understand what the hell is going on in the game. It’s very confusing!! Just when I think I’ve come up with a plot point, it turns out that basically everyone is a robot AND it’s all a dream AND everyone’s been dead the whole time, like every famous movie spin at the same time. But it’s beautiful, it’s fun and it’s weird, and I want about ten billion more games like this, so I’m happy.

I’m going to sound like a broken record, but this weekend it’s more Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for me. I’m now at the end of Chapter 6, which means I’m not far from the end of the game. Of course, beating the game isn’t the end of Xenoblade 3, but I’ll be comfortable with some new things. It was phenomenal, and even with a few stumbling blocks in the endgame, it’s probably my favorite xenoblade game. I’m ready to howl through the ending and the credits and then take down some super bosses!
So things should get a little more varied now because I need an RPG break! I have yet to finish Neon White (yeah, For real) so I’m going to spend some time derusting this weekend, but then I think I’ll start on Witlof: A Colorful Tale. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this.

I honestly don’t think I’ll have time to play anything this weekend, but if I do I’ll probably jump into a Metroidvania game, maybe Axiom Verge or Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night; something I can easily jump in and out of. I might jump into Danganronpa and run through a few scenes here and there, but again, that’s when I have time!

After looking around in flats last weekend, this week I will actually move to one of them! This will, of course, call for a bit of the oddly, specifically titled, Jim Is Moving Out! (thanks to Alana for highlighting this one), in the ultimate ‘life imitates art’ demonstration.
It is also a party everywhere. I expect to go back to the classics with Super Mario Party and Just Dance 2022 to really settle in the new place.
Like most people, I honestly went to the enormous Amount of splatoon content this week and may be tempted to give the series another try once I unpack some boxes. I haven’t really been into this franchise in the past, but maybe a fresh start is the perfect time to go back to it – we’ll see.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a comment below with your weekend gaming plans!
